Zach Georgiou’s Love Island jokes land right after sex

Zach jokes – On the Sunday, June 28 episode of Love Island USA, Zach Georgiou repeatedly joked that he was in love with Kayda Bosse after they had sex in the villa. The moment comes as Zach returned alone following backlash-driven fallout involving Alannah Keyser.

Zach Georgiou didn’t just have a late-night moment with Kayda Bosse in the Love Island USA villa—he turned it into a running joke, too.

On the Sunday, June 28 episode, Zach and Kayda were shown having sex under the covers in the communal bedroom. Afterward, he told her he loved her, then walked it back. The next morning, after their recoupling, he did it again—saying he loved her once more before retreating from the statement.

Their reunion with Zach carried extra tension. Zach and Kayda came together after Zach spent time exploring a romance with Alannah Keyser in Casa Amor, only to walk back into the main villa alone once Alannah was removed from the show.

Alannah’s exit followed backlash over a resurfaced video that allegedly showed her using a racial slur. The video and other posts weren’t shared publicly until after her appearance on the show, which meant they weren’t accessible during the vetting process.

On Saturday, June 27, Alannah posted a TikTok to address what had circulated online. “Hi everyone, I’m coming on here to address some things that have been circulated online. I do want to begin by addressing the video of me singing along to a Roddy Ricch song that contains a racial slur. I’m sorry to whoever has seen that video and has been offended by it. That was never my intention,” she said. “The video is from six years ago and that word is just not in my vocabulary anymore.”.

She added, “I’d also like to address the screenshots that have been going around online that have been falsified. What has been shared does not reflect the truth and it has never been in my character to discriminate against anybody’s skin color. I do want to say directly that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind and I never have.”.

The Alannah situation echoes other recent moments on the series. Earlier this season. contestant Vasana Montgomery was cut from Love Island after resurfaced social media posts showed her using a slur. Similar issues came up during season 7 last year. when Yulissa Escobar left days into the experience after clips of her using racial slurs on a podcast circulated online.

Cierra Ortega also faced backlash for using a slur in her own resurfaced social media post. She was pulled from the villa and later issued an apology for her past actions.

With Love Island USA releasing new episodes six days a week—except for Wednesdays—Zach’s bedroom humor with Kayda arrives while the show continues to grapple with the fallout from resurfaced language, vetting timelines, and the consequences contestants face after past clips resurface.
