Trump thanks Jaxson Dart, rips QB’s critics in Truth Social post

Trump thanks – President Donald Trump publicly praised New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart in a Truth Social post on May 30, thanking the 23-year-old and attacking what he called critics from the “Radical Left Lunatics.” The message followed Dart’s introduction of Trump
For the second time in less than a week, Jaxson Dart put President Donald Trump in the spotlight. And for the second time, Trump answered in his own voice—sharp praise on Truth Social, followed by an attack on the people he says are watching him too closely.
On Saturday, May 30, Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, thanking Dart directly. “Thank you Jaxson!” Trump wrote. “It was great being with you. I know you’re taking some heat from the Radical Left Lunatics who are jealous of you. me. and everyone who surrounds us but. I also know that your Jersey also went to Number One. and you’re making Millions of Dollars so. YOU ARE A WINNER — THEY ARE ALL LOSERS. I’ll see you in the White House!. President DJT.”.
It wasn’t clear whether Trump’s final line was an open invitation for Dart to visit the White House, or whether the president was suggesting the Giants would soon win a championship—earning the kind of celebratory moment that typically comes afterward.
Dart’s appearance with Trump came after the Giants signaled a desire to move on from the politics that briefly wrapped itself around their offseason. On Friday. May 29. during team activities at their OTA practice. the New York Giants made clear they were looking to move forward as a group after Dart introduced President Donald Trump at a campaign-style rally in Suffern. New York on May 22.
Trump, though, didn’t sound ready to move on.
Before the May 30 post, Trump had been effusive about Dart since the rally. During the May 22 event. he described Dart as a “future Hall of Famer” and called him a “beautiful guy” with “legs like tree trunks.” Trump also spoke about Dart while discussing his policy goals—including his desire to ban transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports.
At one point, Trump turned to the audience during the rally and asked, “I’m looking at Jaxson. I’d like to know, is there any woman in the audience that thinks they can tackle that guy?. Because I’d like to meet you. I’d like to shake your hand. I don’t know. Jaxson, you think you can play against women OK?”.
Trump then added, “Don’t get involved Jaxson,” and instructed him, “Don’t answer that question.”
Days later, Trump returned to the same theme—praise for Dart’s image, and for his perceived fit with conservative politics—during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “My View with Lara Trump.”
“Well, first of all, I wish I looked just like Jaxson,” Trump said. “He’s this guy. I said, is he a male model or what? He’s a handsome guy, like a beautiful guy, and a conservative guy.”
Trump also claimed Dart told him, “I love you, sir,” and then offered further praise of Dart’s football ability.
“He’s potentially a great quarterback,” Trump said. “He’s a young boy. He had just really started. But when he’s in a game, he moves the team. And I didn’t know him, but I watched him a little bit. And he really moves the team. He’s got tremendous potential. He stays healthy. He’s going to be a great.”.
Dart wasn’t the only quarterback Trump highlighted on May 30. The president also posted about former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady on Truth Social, sharing a (presumably) AI-generated graphic of the two with the message “GOAT” written atop it.
“Tom Brady is a great player, and great guy!” Trump wrote.

This is all just politics with a football jersey.
So he says “Jersey went to Number One” like that means something? I mean, is that a literal jersey thing or just random bragging. Feels weird either way.
Wait, Dart is going to the White House like??? I saw something like this before and thought it was just a campaign appearance, not like an invitation. Also why are people calling him out, he’s a QB not a politician.
Trump thanking a QB is kinda wild, but also not surprising. The “Radical Left Lunatics” part sounds like he’s mad at critics for existing, which ok whatever. I don’t even know if the Giants are trying to win or just trying to avoid drama. If they win the Super Bowl then sure, “White House” makes sense, but right now it’s all headline hype.
