Creed Trilogy Lands on Netflix June 1st

Creed trilogy – Six years after Creed’s theatrical launch began the story of Adonis Creed, Netflix is finally bringing all three Creed films together to the U.S. library for the first time—starting June 1st—along with several Rocky titles and other major sports-fight favorite
When Adonis Creed’s story first hit theaters in 2015, it wasn’t supposed to be a generational phenomenon. But it landed with force anyway—so much so that it didn’t just stand up to the Rocky legacy, it helped build a new one.
Now. two days shy of the big streaming moment. Netflix is set to make the Creed trilogy available together in the United States for the first time. Beginning on June 1st. viewers will be able to watch the full epic saga of Adonis Creed across all three films—something longtime fans and newcomers have been waiting on.
Creed launched in theaters on November 25, 2015, and the film ran 133 minutes. Directed by Ryan Coogler, it was produced by Charles Winkler, David Winkler, Irwin Winkler, Kevin King Templeton, and Robert Chartoff. Michael B. Jordan stars as Adonis Creed, with Sylvester Stallone returning as Rocky Balboa.
The momentum behind Creed didn’t stop with the first film. The story of Apollo Creed’s orphaned son went on to spawn two sequels. and Jordan took over as director for the third installment. Together. the Creed trilogy has earned a reputation for delivering the kind of acclaim and success audiences rarely see when a franchise returns decades later. It’s also known for a rare feat in franchise terms: each outing bringing in more money than the last. even with the third installment arriving in a post-COVID shutdown theatrical landscape.
Under the hood, there’s also a business reason fans are getting this moment on Netflix. Creed began life under MGM. and it now sits within the Amazon MGM umbrella—meaning Prime Video has often been the home for Rocky legacy sequels. June changes that for this franchise: Netflix will host all three Creed films together on its U.S. lineup starting June 1st, giving the streamer a major push for dramas and sports-movie fans.
June isn’t coming in as a one-franchise celebration either. Netflix’s newsletter confirms Rocky is joining the same platform. with the Rocky films set to arrive on June 1st as well. Five of the six Rocky titles were included in the June additions list. and Rocky II is the only film missing from that newsletter. The omission could be a simple mistake—or it could be the last twist before the full boxing lineup lands.
If sports and fighting are your thing, Netflix has even more planned. June will also bring a batch of Karate Kid movies back to the service. including the original Karate Kid trilogy and the 2010 remake starring Jackie Chan. On top of that. Netflix is adding Miracle. a film many consider one of the best sports movies of the century.
With Creed becoming the biggest addition of the set—especially because the trilogy has never been available on Netflix together before—June is shaping up to be a month designed for anyone who wants theatrical-quality blockbusters at home.
