Ultrahuman launches M2 Live CGM for US wellness

Ultrahuman launches – Ultrahuman has launched M2 Live in the United States, pairing glucose data from Abbott’s over-the-counter Lingo continuous glucose monitor with metabolic insights powered by Jade AI. Subscriptions start at $99 per month, and individual Lingo sensors cost $129,
By the time most wellness trackers are done counting steps and estimating recovery, they’ve already missed the moment glucose is rising after a meal.
Ultrahuman is betting that gap is where consumer health tech can finally move beyond “fitness” and into something more immediate. The company has announced the launch of M2 Live in the United States, expanding continuous glucose monitoring and metabolic health insights to people without diabetes.
The key change is access. M2 Live integrates glucose data from Abbott’s over-the-counter Lingo continuous glucose monitor (CGM). letting users track metabolic health without requiring a prescription. For Ultrahuman. that’s a deliberate attempt to make glucose monitoring cheaper and easier to adopt—an effort that builds on the company’s earlier push into wellness-focused metabolic tracking when it introduced its first metabolic tracking platform in 2021.
With M2 Live, the company is aiming for a subscription starting at $99 per month. Individual sensors are priced at $129.
Ultrahuman says the platform is designed for adults who want to understand, in real time, how food, exercise, stress, and sleep affect their bodies. It’s also available to people with prediabetes who want to improve their overall metabolic health.
What makes M2 Live different is the promise of context. Ultrahuman describes it as going beyond traditional glucose monitoring that focuses only on blood sugar levels. Instead. the system combines Lingo biosensor data with inputs from the Ultrahuman Ring and the company’s Blood Vision service. which analyzes more than 100 blood biomarkers.
Users are meant to see glucose patterns alongside sleep quality, activity levels, recovery, stress, heart rate variability, and body temperature.
Powering the experience is Jade AI, Ultrahuman’s real-time biointelligence engine. The company says Jade AI analyzes health data and helps explain why glucose levels rise or fall by linking those changes to lifestyle factors such as meals, exercise routines, sleep habits, and recovery patterns.
To make the flow of numbers feel more usable, M2 Live includes a daily Metabolic Score that ranges from 0 to 100. Ultrahuman also adds personalized Food Scores to show how specific foods affect glucose levels. real-time spike alerts. and workout-focused Fueling Scores. The platform also offers access to OGDb, which Ultrahuman describes as the world’s largest open glucose database.
Ultrahuman frames the push with a stark statistic: it says only one in eight US adults is metabolically healthy. The company connects that to conditions including Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. arguing that real-time metabolic insights can help people make better health decisions before serious problems develop.
The company is also pointing to science in an attempt to prove the platform isn’t just another dashboard. Ultrahuman says its Metabolic Score was clinically validated through a multi-center study published in Nature. demonstrating its ability to distinguish between non-diabetic and prediabetic individuals.
It also points to collaborations with Stanford University, Bangor University, La Trobe University, and the Mayo Clinic as part of its broader metabolic health research efforts.
The timing matters. Ultrahuman says the launch arrives as consumer health technology moves beyond simple fitness tracking toward deeper monitoring. With over-the-counter continuous glucose monitors becoming more widely available. M2 Live is positioned as one way to bring metabolic health tracking to a broader audience.
Ultrahuman says M2 Live will be available in the US through its website in the coming weeks. Each Lingo sensor can be worn for up to 14 days, giving users continuous glucose data and personalized health insights throughout the day.
