TPC Pizza

TPC Pizza officially launched today at Phnom Penh’s Chip Mong Mega Mall 271, positioning itself as a proudly Cambodian pizza brand built specifically for the local market.. Backed by Palms Food International and led by a team with decades of experience in Cambodia’s food industry, the brand says it aims to combine familiar customer favourites with a distinctly Cambodian identity.. For General Manager Virak Tep, the launch represented more than just the opening of another

restaurant chain.. He described it as the culmination of years spent watching Cambodia’s rapid growth and changing consumer tastes.. “Today feels like the right moment for something like TPC Pizza to exist,” he said.. The company explained that the name “TPC” stands for “The Pizza Cambodia”, a deliberate choice intended to communicate national identity.. According to Virak, the shorter name was also chosen because it is easy to remember and easy for customers to say,

while clearly reflecting the company’s ambition to become Cambodia’s own pizza brand.. “Not adapted for this market.. Built for it,” he said, describing the philosophy behind the business.. That Cambodian identity is also reflected in the branding and visual design.. The design elements of TPC Pizza incorporate elements such as the traditional Kroma pattern and the Romdoul, Cambodia’s national flower.. These choices were intended as a tribute to Cambodian culture rather than a marketing statement..

“A brand built for Cambodia should carry that beauty with it,” Virak said, adding that the company wanted the restaurant to feel Cambodian “in its bones”.. “Everything on the menu was made with care and made with Cambodia in mind,” he said.. Palms Food International Managing Director Michael Chick said the decision to launch TPC Pizza was rooted in Cambodia itself.. Chick described the company as “a brand that Cambodia can genuinely call its own”..

TPC Pizza also highlighted its commitment to working with Cambodian suppliers, producers and businesses, noting that the company’s growth should contribute directly to local communities.. The brand is already working with Cambodian partners including ACLEDA Bank, Cambodia Beer, Cellcard and other local suppliers and producers.. “The trust that was built in this market does not disappear with a new name,” Chick said.. “Our job is to build on it.” TPC Pizza currently operates 11 locations

across Phnom Penh, with additional branches expected to open before the end of the month.. The company also confirmed that provincial expansion plans are already underway.. The long-term goal, Chick said, is for TPC Pizza to become a brand that represents Cambodia’s evolving food identity and one that local consumers feel genuinely proud to support.. “This is only the beginning,” Virak said.. “We are just getting started.”
