For more than a month, Powerball players have been chasing a prize that keeps getting bigger—now the jackpot has reached $212 million ahead of Saturday, June 6.

The advertised jackpot is $212 million, with a $94.5 million cash option. It has not been hit in more than a month, rolling over since May 2, when tickets in Texas and Florida split a $20 million prize.

Drawings take place three times a week, and the jackpot keeps climbing until a ticket matches all six numbers. Powerball has been in play since 1992, and jackpots have been hit more than 400 times.

Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are among the states with the most jackpot-winning tickets.

Here’s what you need to know for Saturday night’s drawing.

To play, pick six numbers: five white balls from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball from 1 to 26. Players can also choose “Quick Pick” for random number selection.

Tickets cost $2. They are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Authorized retailers include convenience stores, gas stations and grocery stores, and in some states tickets can also be purchased online.

If you want extra chances, you can add the “Power Play” option for $1 more. Power Play multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x.

A ticket wins the jackpot only if it matches all five white balls in any order plus the Powerball.

The winning numbers for the June 6 Powerball drawing will be posted after the lottery at 10:59 p.m. ET.

Powerball’s largest recent jackpots include $2.040 billion on Nov. 7, 2022 in California; $1.817 billion on Dec. 24, 2025 in Arkansas; $1.787 billion on Sept. 6, 2025 in Missouri and Texas; $1.765 billion on Oct. 11, 2023 in California; $1.586 billion on Jan. 13, 2016 in California, Florida and Tennessee; $1.326 billion on April 6, 2024 in Oregon; $1.080 billion on July 19, 2023 in California; $842.4 million on Jan. 1, 2024 in Michigan; $768.4 million on Mar. 27, 2019 in Wisconsin; and $758.7 million on Aug. 23, 2017 in Massachusetts.

Saturday’s drawing arrives with a familiar tension for longtime players: no one has cracked the top prize since May 2, and each rollover has turned ordinary tickets into a shot at a prize that keeps expanding—now $212 million—as the calendar turns to June 6.

  1. Cash option 94.5 mil is what? They say $212M but then you don’t really get that. Still, I’d take it and disappear lol. Also why is it never in my state smh.

  2. Wait, it says it rolled since May 2 when Texas and Florida split a $20 million win. So that means like, they hit it again already and are just teasing us with the bigger number? Feels rigged when the jackpot keeps climbing after “splits.”

  3. If you do Power Play doesn’t it multiply the whole jackpot though? Like 10x would make it 2 billion something? I swear they make it sound different every year. I’m just gonna pick random numbers and pretend that counts as a system.
