Food security strategy? So are they finally lowering food prices or what.
Why is this in Green Lake, not Saskatoon? Feels like another ribbon cutting for something that won’t help regular folks. Also 1:30 pm like who can even go.
I don’t get it. Isn’t food security just farmers planting more? Like Saskatchewan already grows tons of stuff. “Food Hub” behind the hall sounds like storage for pallets or something.
So is this Canada admitting the food system is broken? Or is it just a media tour of a hub and then everyone forgets by July. If they’re “strengthening” it, why they need an event invite and emails and all that. Also Belanger sounds like the one who’s been talking about rural stuff forever, so yeah I’m skeptical.
