The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an estimated $452 million ahead of Friday, June 19’s drawing—just hours from the moment a lucky ticket can split a prize big enough to reshape a year.

With no major winner since the last win on St. Patrick’s Day, the game is heading into another high-stakes draw during what’s described as a monthslong dry spell. If a player wins Friday night, they can take either a lump-sum cash option or annuity payments that increase by 5% each year.

Only two jackpots have been hit so far in 2026, and the most recent one came on St. Patrick’s Day, when an Ohio ticket took $60 million.

The next drawing after Friday is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, at 11 p.m. ET.

Mega Millions players will also want to confirm the latest numbers after the draw. The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions lottery are to be posted after the drawing at 11 p.m. ET.

  1. So is the cash option $201 million or is that like after taxes? People keep saying cash is always less but $201 sounds wayyyy less than $452.

  2. They said no major winner since St. Patrick’s Day so that’s basically a “green ticket” conspiracy right? Like if you don’t buy it around March 17 it won’t hit 😅 Also I don’t get the 5% thing, isn’t it just the same money split up?

  3. Mega Millions always hits huge right after I tell myself I’m gonna stop, so yeah I’m nervous. If it’s splitting big enough to “reshape a year” then why do they never say who the winner is until later? Also June 23 is Tuesday right? I’m gonna check the numbers at 11pm but sometimes sites are slow, so I might just refresh until it feels right.
