The recall, announced in a June 4 notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, involves four lots of Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels, 125 mg, sold in 120-count and 72-count bottles. The company said the products were distributed beginning around April 13, 2026, and were pulled after potential contamination during the packaging process.

It is considered safe in small. regulated amounts. but the FDA warned that if softgels are contaminated with the substance. it could cause symptoms such as nausea. vomiting. abdominal pain. and diarrhea.
So far, Haleon said it has not received reports of illness.
