More than a decade after Giuliana & Bill wrapped, Giuliana Rancic is entertaining the idea of an “extension,” saying it would be “fun” as fans keep asking for the reality show’s return.
For years, fans have been asking the same question: could Giuliana & Bill come back?
On SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio. Giuliana Rancic leaned into the possibility while talking with hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real about whether the reality show could be brought back for another chapter. “We got to talk about that. ” she said. before adding that this was the right place to discuss it because “there is no one more invested in reality than [Danny and Evan].”.
Giuliana and her entrepreneur husband. Bill Rancic. have been married since 2007. and they still get pulled into the conversation about their original series. Giuliana pointed out that they “did 80 episodes” of Giuliana and Bill. and she admitted it’s strange that people bring the show up so often after they haven’t been on reality TV “for years.”.
“It’s so funny… We haven’t [been on reality TV] for years, and people will say to us, all the time, ‘You have to bring the show back… It was a show we could all watch with, like, my grandmother, my kids,’” Giuliana said.
Just this month, the Rancics also launched a new chapter of their own—an iHeart podcast called “Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast.” Giuliana described the podcast as an “evolution” of Giuliana and Bill, but she said listeners are still asking for the original reality show to return.
Now, she and Bill are considering what comes next. “As a result, the couple is now ‘thinking about ‘Should we do an extension?’” Giuliana said, and added, “I don’t know. It’d be fun.”
Giuliana & Bill premiered on Style Network in 2009 and ran for seven seasons: the first six seasons on Style Network before moving to E! for its seventh and final season in 2014. The show reportedly ended to protect their then-2-year-old son, Duke, from the intense scrutiny of the cameras.
The family story behind the series goes much further than cameras. Giuliana and Bill met in 2005, when Giuliana interviewed Bill for E!. News shortly after he won the first season of The Apprentice. They tied the knot in 2007—two years before their show first aired. Along the way. the couple documented not only their relationship. but personal struggles including their experience with IVF and miscarriage. as well as Giuliana’s b***** cancer diagnosis. Their child arrived through surrogacy in 2012.
After the reality series ended, Giuliana and Bill moved into other projects and business ventures. In 2021, Giuliana ended her two-decade-long career at E!. and joined HSN. where she promotes her G by Giuliana fashion line and her home and decor line G by Giuliana Home. In July 2024, Bill launched the financial literacy podcast “Dollar Bill with Bill Rancic,” which was canceled in August 2024. The pair also continues to co-own RPM Restaurants. which has locations in Chicago. Illinois; Washington. D.C.; and Las Vegas. Nevada.
Right now, it’s not a promise—Giuliana is still weighing an idea. But after “80 episodes. ” years away from reality TV. and a steady stream of fans asking for the return. her answer lands in the one place that matters: if Giuliana & Bill ever finds its way back. it would be because people never really stopped watching.
