Moto Edge 70 Pro+ lands on Flipkart with telephoto

Moto Edge – Motorola is gearing up to expand its Edge 70 lineup in India with the Edge 70 Pro+, now listed on Flipkart as “coming soon.” The teaser confirms a major camera jump: a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 50MP telephoto, including a 50MP 3.5x periscope and up to

Flipkart already has it tagged as “coming soon,” and Motorola is leaning hard on one promise for the India market: better zoom.

A new phone called the Moto Edge 70 Pro+ has appeared on Flipkart with a teaser that points to a meaningful camera upgrade over the Edge 70 Pro that was recently launched in the country. The promotional page spells out the changes in plain terms: the Edge 70 Pro+ will carry a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP telephoto lens.

For the main camera, Motorola says it will use a Sony Lytia 710 sensor with optical image stabilization. The more eye-catching addition is the telephoto stack—Motorola is advertising a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera. It also lists multiple portrait modes tied to the lens: 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm. Motorola is additionally marketing up to 50x AI-powered zoom.

For buyers who felt burned by the regular Edge 70 Pro launch in India, that telephoto omission is the turning point. The Edge 70 Pro that Motorola brought to India skipped the telephoto camera entirely, and the Pro+ is now framed as the fix.

There’s also a strong clue that this may not be a wholly new design made from scratch for India. The camera setup Motorola is teasing lines up closely with the global Motorola Edge 70 Pro that debuted in Europe last month. Even two of the promoted color options—Pantone Zinfandel and Pantone Chicory Coffee—match the shades used on the global model. suggesting the Edge 70 Pro+ could be a rebranded version of the international Edge 70 Pro tailored for India.

Still, there may be one India-specific tweak. Pantone Stormy Sea appears to be a new colorway for the market. Motorola describes it as “a soothing green-grey tone that channels calm amid chaos.”

Motorola hasn’t confirmed the rest of the specifications yet, and the official launch date remains undisclosed. But if the Pro+ truly follows the global Edge 70 Pro blueprint. it could come with a 6.8-inch 144Hz AMOLED display. 90W wired fast charging. wireless charging. and more RAM than the Indian Edge 70 Pro. For now. those details should be treated as likely rather than confirmed—because Motorola hasn’t put them on the record alongside the camera claims.
