Baseball fans in Charlotte get their five-day sprint starting Tuesday, May 19. The 2026 ACC baseball tournament runs through Saturday, May 23 at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina, and every one of the conference’s 16 teams is in the field.

The championship is set for Saturday, May 23 at Truist Field. The tournament schedule is split across broadcast windows: Games 1 through 14 are played on the ACC Network, while Sunday’s championship game is scheduled for ESPN2.

One key storyline sits behind the tournament’s latest matchup potential. In 2025, the three-seed North Carolina beat the five-seed Clemson in the title game for its first win since 2022. North Carolina’s path to the crown included wins over No. 14 Boston College and No. 2 Florida State, before taking down Clemson in the final.

Duke. and others. culminating with Duke winning in 2024 and North Carolina winning again in 2025.

  1. So ESPN2 only for the championship right? Kinda weird they couldn’t just put it on regular ESPN too. Also ACC tourney starting May 19… I thought it was already May 19 somewhere else lol

  2. The article says no ACC tourney winner wins the national championship the same year?? That seems like a conspiracy stat. Like if Duke won 2024 then that should’ve happened… unless they’re counting wrong teams or seasons or whatever.

  3. I swear every year they say “all 16 teams” but then it’s like half the bracket is basically ACC Network ads. Also the North Carolina/Clemson thing—didn’t Clemson always win the title game? I get confused because 2020 has a gap like the teams disappeared. Anyway hope it’s fun, Charlotte gets the games so I’m jealous.
