Liberals’ jet cuts collide with Snowbirds pride

In case Canadians haven’t noticed, the Liberals have been slowly chipping away at anything and everything that showcases our Canadian culture. Despite what Justin Trudeau claimed, we do have one. The Snowbirds are definitely part of that culture. Seeing as the Liberals have been in power for over 11 years, would it not have made sense to have ordered new jets before pulling the plug on the current ones? They knew the jets’ lifespan was at its end. If they used a fraction of the

tax dollars they’ve doled out to countries around the world, we would already have a new fleet and the transition would have been seamless. Oh, sorry, I forgot … Liberals and common sense don’t mix. Watching the Snowbirds was a welcome relief from all that insanity going on in the world. SANDY JOHNSTON WHO, EXACTLY, ARE THEY ASKING? Re: Mark Carney’s approval rating as PM slips despite Liberal lead in polls, online, May 12 I would like to see these pollsters show they contacted the

same number of people in each province and territory and post the results.

  1. I didn’t even realize the Snowbirds jets were in trouble. Sounds like the Liberals just waited till the last second… which, shocker, is very on brand. Also the polling stuff is always suspicious like they never call the right people.

  2. Wait is this saying the Liberals made the collisions happen?? Cuz that’s kinda not the same thing as just replacing jets. And the article is mixing like three different topics (jets, Trudeau, and Mark Carney approval) so I’m lost. If they had more money maybe they wouldn’t have crashed, but I guess nobody knows the real cause.

  3. I mean if they’ve been in power 11 years why didn’t they buy new planes earlier? That part seems simple. But also like Canada is always spending everywhere else so of course the Snowbirds get the shaft. And the approval rating/polls thing… maybe Canadians just don’t care until it affects real stuff like air shows. Hard to trust any numbers anymore.
