FOX and Amazon guests fuel talk of Travis Kelce

The first thing people noticed wasn’t the rings or the vows—it was the guest list.
At Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding. FOX and Amazon had a very strong presence. and even Dean Blandino. a rules analyst. was reportedly among the guests. ESPN also showed up in force with Jason Kelce, whose current employer is ESPN. But while those networks were clearly in attendance, CBS or NBC didn’t appear to have a presence.
That pattern is what has fans and media watchers talking. The inclusions and omissions invite the same question: is Kelce thinking about future media work with Fox or Amazon—or even both?
The speculation isn’t coming out of nowhere. Last year, rumors circulated that Kelce was interested in Kirk Herbstreit’s seat in the Thursday Night Football booth. Herbstreit’s deal runs through 2026, and Kelce already has a relationship with Amazon through the New Heights podcast. His presence at the wedding—along with the visible Amazon attendance—has only added fuel to the idea that the path could be there when the time comes.
The other domino would fall at FOX. If Kelce took a role connected to Thursday Night Football. he could potentially join the desk at Fox NFL Sunday when the next spot opens. Doing both. in practical terms. would be easier than Herbstreit’s current schedule. which spans ESPN College GameDay. the top ESPN/ABC college football game. and Thursday Night Football. For Kelce, the expectation is simpler: whichever gig he wants, at any network with an available spot.
In the end, the sticking point isn’t opportunity—it’s price. The talk among media circles pegs the combined value of those potential roles at about $40 million per year.

No CBS or NBC?? That’s wild, like it’s already decided who he’s signing with.
Dean Blandino being there is basically proof he’s going to Fox, right? I mean Fox loves the rules guy type stuff. But then Amazon was there too so maybe he just likes paying attention to commercials or something.
People keep saying it’s about the media jobs but I don’t get how a wedding guest list equals future contracts. Like if Kirk Herbstreit wasn’t there does that mean he’s leaving?? Also “price” like 40 million… who cares, just let the man enjoy life. ESPN being there just makes it more confusing honestly.
I swear every article now is like “oh look Fox showed up” like that means he’s switching channels immediately. Kelce already has the New Heights thing with Amazon so they’re obviously gonna slide him into Thursday Night Football, and CBS/NBC not showing = they don’t want him. But maybe it’s just politics, like networks only send people when they think they’ll win the rights. Either way 40 million is crazy money.
