Father’s Day 2026 food deals bring BOGO and freebies

Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 21, and for many dads, the gift won’t be something they carefully shelve—it’ll be something they actually eat.

Across the U.S., restaurants and delivery platforms are leaning into the same playbook: buy one, get one offers, app-based codes, gift-card bonuses, and limited-time menu deals that show up at the exact moment a family is deciding where to go.

Kristopher Juniel in Phoenix walked through affordable Father’s Day gift ideas and how a dad might use them every day—then, in a separate push, restaurants moved in with their own everyday proof: deals dad can take straight from the counter to the table.

The commercial backdrop is big. Father’s Day spending is expected to reach a record $27.9 billion this year. according to the National Retail Federation’s annual survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics. That would be up about 16% from a year ago. The average person is expected to spend $227, up from $199 a year ago.

More than half of Father’s Day celebrators—55%—plan to treat Dad to a special outing. Greeting cards are close behind at 60%, and clothing at 58%.

For diners making a last-minute decision, the deals start early and run through the holiday weekend.

Through Monday. June 22. Bojangles is offering a Breakfast Combo deal: you can get a free Breakfast Combo when you buy one. The chicken-and-biscuits chain says the deal can be used online and in the Bojangles app at participating locations using promo code FATHERSBOGO. It also includes a free Bo’s Chicken Sandwich when you download the app.

If dining out is the plan but delivery is the preference. DoorDash is running buy one. get one free deals for DashPass members through Sunday. June 21. DashPass subscribers pay $0 delivery fees and get lower service fees and other perks for $9.99 per month. and they can choose from multiple BOGO offers good through June 21.

The list includes Wendy’s BOGO Spicy Chicken Sandwich; Subway BOGO Tuna. Turkey or Meatball 6-inch sandwiches; Burger King BOGO Whopper Jr.; Popeyes BOGO 4-piece bone-in chicken or chicken sandwich; and Tropical Smoothie Cafe BOGO of its Top 5 smoothies. The Tropical Smoothie Cafe offer is only good on Sunday, June 21, which the promotion ties to National Smoothie Day.

Several chains are making it easier to spend less with delivery and loyalty discounts. 7-Eleven is offering $10 off delivery via the 7NOW Delivery app with a $20-or-more order using promo code FORDAD. Jimmy John’s is running a buy-one. get-one-free Toasted Sandwich offer through Sunday. June 21 for members of the JJ Rewards loyalty program. available online and in the Jimmy John’s app with promo code FAVECHILD.

Dessert fans have their own lineup of Father’s Day bundles. Crumbl has a Father’s Day Bundl available through Saturday. June 20 in Large and Mini sizes. sold in 6-packs or 12-packs. Flavor choices include Everything But The Dad Jokes Cookie. made with M&M’s. peanut butter chips and peanut butter-coated potato chips and drizzled with milk chocolate.

Restaurants also leaned on gift cards as a way to drive immediate purchases—often with “bonus” cards that make the deal feel bigger at checkout.

Applebee’s says that when you buy a $50 Applebee’s Gift Card for Dad, you get a $10 Bonus Card for yourself. The deal is available in restaurants or online and is offered on physical gift cards or digital ones.

Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a B-Dubs Pick 6 through Father’s Day. The deal starts at $19.99 and allows customers to mix and match two entrees (options include 10 Boneless Wings. 3 Crispy Chicken Dippers or an All-American Cheeseburger). two sides (Fries. Tots or Wedges) and two fountain drinks. The promotion is available for dine-in, takeout or delivery. The chain is also offering a gift-card bonus: when you buy $50 in gift cards. you get a $10 bonus gift card to redeem by July 31.

Carabba’s Italian Grill is running gift-card bonuses for Father’s Day as well. When customers buy $50 in gift cards, they receive two bonus $10 cards: one redeemable by Aug. 23 and another redeemable between Aug. 24 and Oct. 25. Carabba’s also has a special pre-fixe Father’s Day menu that includes a chocolate peanut butter brownie.

Carvel is leaning into take-home sweets. Through June 21, the chain says that when you buy any 48-ounce or larger Carvel cake in-store—including a Father’s Day Seasonal Round ice cream cake and the popular Fudgie the Whale cake—you can also get a 4-pack of Fudgie Pops for just $9.99.

Other deals spread out across the holiday weekend. Del Taco is offering 20% off orders of $10 or more (up to $10 off) for Father’s Day on Saturday and Sunday, June 20-21.

Edible Arrangements says customers can order by June 20 and get 15% off its Father’s Day collection, which includes Dad’s Fresh Fruit Arrangement, a Father’s Day Dessert Board and Best Dad Ever Dipped Berries & Balloon Gift Set. Use code DAD15 to get the deal.

Fazoli’s has a code-based promotion running now through Monday, June 23: get a free regular Regular Fettuccine Alfredo or Spaghetti with Meat Sauce or Marinara entrée with an entrée purchase, using code Father26.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is running a Father’s Day deal in the Freddy’s Rewards app for a $2.99 mini Cookie Dough Overload Concrete. The one-time offer is good all day on June 21 at the drive-thru and for dining in, pickup or delivery.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is promoting a limited-time Viva Los Tacos menu that includes Honey Chipotle Shrimp Tacos ($4.65) and Fiery Citrus Carnitas Tacos ($3.70). It also includes $5 Michelob Ultra drafts or $8 Casamigos margarita served in limited-edition World Cup souvenir cups. In addition, Fuzzy’s Rewards members who become regulars as part of Fuzzy’s Summer Fridays program through Aug. 28 can get a free burrito after seven qualifying visits and an exclusive Summer Fridays T-shirt after 10 visits.

Delivery apps are also getting involved beyond DoorDash. Gopuff says it has several Father’s Day specials available while supplies last, including two for $10 select Doritos, Ruffles, Tostitos and Fritos products, two for $9 Frito Lay dips and two for $11 Crave Shoppe Ice Cream Bubbles.

Hurricane Grill & Wings has a discount deal: dads get $5 off a purchase of $35 or more on Sunday, June 21 with code DAD2026. The offer is good at participating locations for dine-in or takeout, excluding third-party delivery, and it’s one-time use only.

Jason’s Deli is running a gift-card reward: through June 21, when customers spend $50 in gift cards, they get a $5 reward card. If someone is a member of the Deli Dollar Rewards loyalty program, they also get an extra $5 reward.

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe says it has a new summer menu hitting in time for Father’s Day. The chain says it has more than 80 locations across Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Nevada, California and Colorado. Specials include Avocado Toast starting at $11.49. hot and iced Caramel Coffee ($4.49 at most locations). STōK Bold & Smooth Cold Brew ($4.99 at most locations) and Bloody Mary ($7.99 at most locations; availability may vary by location and time of day). There’s also a $5 Summer Kids Meal Deal available on weekdays with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill is offering a free beer with the purchase of an entrée on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21.

MOD Pizza is offering a gift-card bounce-back: buy a $30 gift card for Dad through June 21 and get a bounce-back reward for a free MOD-sized pizza or salad and a 16-ounce fountain drink.

Native Grill & Wings has a $10-off threshold: get $10 off a purchase of $60 or more through Sunday, June 21 with Code DAD2026. The offer is good at participating locations for dine-in, take out or orders placed online on the Native App.

Outback Steakhouse is running a Father’s Day Flash Sale: get two $10 bonus cards with the purchase of a $50 gift card. with the offer good through Sunday. June 21. The limited-time Father’s Day menu runs through Sunday. June 21 and includes new dishes like a Bone-In Ribeye with Cowboy Butter. the Delmonico & Lobster Combo. and Backyard BBQ Combos with a sirloin and choice of BBQ baby back ribs. Grilled Chicken on the Barbie or Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie.

Paris Baguette is offering Father’s Day cakes through June 21, including Lemon Blueberry Chiffon Cake, S’mores Cake and Summer Berry Trifle Cake.

P.F. Chang’s is shifting the spotlight from discounts to a sweepstakes. It’s inviting customers to nominate their father or a father figure to win the Papa Chang 2026 sweepstakes. The process requires following @pfchangs on Instagram and liking the pinned Papa Chang post. then tagging a father or father figure in the comments and sharing why he’s special and the best piece of “Dad Wisdom” received. The promotion allows up to two bonus entries by posting an Instagram Story during Father’s Day week through June 21. tagging @pfchangs and using #PapaChang. The grand prize winner gets a $2,500 P.F. Chang’s gift card and an engraved “Papa Chang 2026” plaque. Eight runner-ups will each receive $250 P.F. Chang’s gift cards.

Snooze Eatery is running a sweepstakes for people who dine in through June 30, with entries into the SnoozeFest Pancake Flight Sweepstakes. The prize is a Chicago getaway trip with VIP Lollapalooza access. The menu includes the return of fan-favorite Habanero Pork Belly Benny.

Sonny’s BBQ says that members of the Sonny’s BBQ Rewards loyalty program who dine in on June 21 will get a buy one, get one free entrée offer loaded directly to their rewards account. The chain also says its new summer menu includes Cherry Cobbler Egg Rolls.

Stop & Shop. which says it has more than 350 stores throughout Connecticut. Massachusetts. Rhode Island. New York and New Jersey. is offering a buy one. get one free deal on Nature’s Promise 10-ounce 100% Grass Fed Sirloin Strip or Ribeye Steak (excluding organic) through June 25. While shopping, customers can also get $2 off when they purchase two Hallmark greeting cards.

Tabañero is running a sitewide offer on June 21: save 20% when ordering sauces including Garlic Habanero and Jalapeño Avocado.

TGI Fridays is offering a Father’s Day special that includes a $19.99 Full-rack of Big Ribs combo with two sides. The chain also says it has 25% off platters orders online with code DadDay26.

Tim Hortons is offering a daily donut deal now through Sunday, June 21: each day you can buy one donut and get one of equal or lesser value for free. The offer is available in the Tim Hortons app.

White Castle is running a buy one combo, get one free deal from Saturday, June 20 to Monday, June 22.

The pricing forecasts and the spread of promotions land on the same basic reality: families still plan to spend for Father’s Day even as consumer sentiment continues to dip. The offers—ranging from free sandwiches and smoothies to bonus gift-card balances—turn that spending into something tangible. immediate. and easier to justify.

For anyone building a Father’s Day plan on Sunday, it’s also worth remembering what the promotions collectively share: check local restaurants and businesses’ social media accounts for other promotions.

Fathers don’t want a generic idea of celebration. They want the weekend where the bill is smaller, the food is plentiful, and the day feels like it was made for them.

  2. Wait so Shake Shack is giving away sandwiches for Father’s Day like right now? I thought it was like, you had to pay and then they “award” you later. Also Bojangles BOGO is only on regular days too I swear, not just June 21.

  3. Spending is forecast to hit a record 27.9 billion… so basically we’re all gonna get talked into buying food gifts again. I’ll take the freebies but I hate when the app code never works and then the cashier is like “it’s online only.”
