B&H cuts 15-inch MacBook Air M4 to $969

B&H is discounting the remaining 15-inch MacBook Air M4 inventory to $969, with free expedited shipping. The deal applies to a specific configuration in Sky Blue and is available exclusively to AppleInsider readers through special pricing links.
A deal like this doesn’t linger for long—B&H is selling off its remaining 15-inch MacBook Air M4 stock for $969, and it’s doing it with free expedited shipping.
The model on sale is the last-gen 15-inch MacBook Air M4, originally priced at $1,199, now marked down to $969 in Sky Blue. The configuration being pushed in the offer is a 15-inch MacBook Air M4 with a 10-core chip, 16GB of unified memory, and 256GB of storage.
If you were already looking at Apple’s newer M5 line, the comparison is part of the hook. The cheapest 15-inch MacBook Air with the M5—priced at $1,099 with current discounts—costs $130 more than this M4 blowout deal, despite starting at a higher storage capacity of 512GB.
There’s also a closeout option for shoppers willing to go smaller: a 13-inch MacBook Air M4 in Apple’s Midnight finish is listed at $929. That closeout bundle includes a 10-core GPU and 512GB SSD.
To activate the deals at B&H, the offers are available exclusively to AppleInsider readers through the special pricing links attached to the promotion. The offers cannot be activated through B&H’s mobile app at this time—something that could matter to anyone who prefers to shop on the go.
B&H is also including free 2-day shipping, aiming to get the laptop to your doorstep quickly. For added flexibility, special financing and a sales tax refund in qualifying states are available via the store’s Payboo card.
In other words: this is a narrow window built around specific configurations, and the price advantage comes from where inventory remains—plus the fact that the M5 entry point currently runs higher even after discounts.
B&H MacBook Air M4 15-inch MacBook Air deal $969 Sky Blue AppleInsider readers expedited shipping
Why is it only for AppleInsider readers lol like what am I supposed to do, subscribe to a deal newsletter?
969 for a 15-inch Air sounds decent but I’m still mad Apple forces you into stupid configurations. Also “Sky Blue” is ugly so I’d probably never buy it anyway.
Wait so the M4 is cheaper than the M5 even though the M5 is newer? That seems backwards but maybe it’s like the iPhone thing where they already got rid of stock. I don’t see how the storage is even relevant if it’s still 16GB memory.
B&H says it can’t be activated through the app?? So you have to use a link from AppleInsider just to get the deal. That’s kinda sketchy to me, like the “free expedited shipping” might only apply if you jump through hoops. I’d rather just pay full price at Best Buy and be done.
