Win: Japanese izakaya collab dinner for two on June 15

For one night only on Monday, June 15, the team at Goryon-San joins forces with celebrated chef Raita Noda for a special Asahi Super Dry collaboration. Noda, known for his acclaimed 12-seat omakase restaurant R by Raita Noda, brings his culinary expertise to Goryon-San – an authentic izakaya where yakitori, ramen and on-tap Asahi beer take centrestage. Hosted by Asahi Super Dry, the winner and their plus-one will score a reservation at the hotly anticipated collaboration event. The evening begins with a saké-based cocktail on
arrival, followed by a trio of seafood-led starters. From there, Noda and the Goryon-San team will serve a collaborative menu inspired by Tokyo and Fukuoka’s dining scenes. Noda brings his signature creativity to the sashimi course, pairing fresh seafood with savoury pistachio ice-cream. The Goryon-San crew follows with the restaurant’s take on classic kushiyaki skewers and rich tonkotsu ramen. Each course is expertly designed to be enjoyed alongside perfectly poured Asahi Super Dry. The night finishes on a sweet note with chestnut-filled Mont Blanc, a
dessert that cleverly incorporates Asahi Super Dry as a nod to Japan’s love of beer. For the chance to win two free tickets to the dining experience, enter the competition below. You can buy tickets now via Humanitix. Entries open Monday June 1 and close Friday June 12. Terms and conditions apply. This article is produced by Broadsheet in partnership with Asahi Super Dry, for audiences 18+ only. Please drink responsibly.

Wait so is this only for people in Japan? lol
June 15 sounds fun but isn’t Humanitix like… a charity thing? I don’t get why tickets are there. Also Asahi always tastes kinda watery to me.
So the “winner” and plus-one get reservations, but do they actually serve the beer or is it just an ad gimmick? Pistachio ice cream with sashimi also sounds illegal 😂 I’m probably reading it wrong but still.
Entries open June 1 and close June 12… so if I enter on June 12 at night will it count? Like time zone matters or whatever. Also “produced by Broadsheet in partnership with Asahi” makes it feel like a sponsored thing, not really a normal contest. Either way I want the mont blanc if it’s actually chestnut.
