One day later, Grande posted a response that landed somewhere between self-aware and downright playful. Wednesday’s upload was a throwback clip of her and her best friend, Elizabeth Gillies, recreating an iconic scene from 1995’s “Showgirls.”
In the video—filmed during Halloween 2023—Grande and Gillies dressed up as Elizabeth Berkley’s character. Nomi Malone. and Gina Gershon’s character. Cristal Connors. As part of the recreation, Gillies looks at Grande’s chest and says, “You have great t-ts. They’re really beautiful.” Grande answers simply, “Thank you.”.
