Argos deal turns five Assassin’s Creed games into 90p

Nintendo Switch gamers can snap up Assassin’s Creed games for 90p each in a clever deal. It’s up for grabs when stacking deals at Argos, which is offering a two for £20 deal that includes five titles from the long-running franchise. Shoppers can currently order Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection and Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection for £20, rather than the usual £16.99 each. However, this can be reduced to less than £5 when signing up for a free TopCashback account. By doing this, members
will receive a £15 welcome bonus and cashback at Argos, reducing the bundle to £4.50 after cashback. This works out at five classic Assassin’s Creed games for the equivalent of 90p each. The deal is available exclusively for new TopCashback members and new Argos customers, while new TopCashback members who already shop at Argos will pay £4.83 after cashback. It’s worth noting the deal is for download codes only rather than physical copies. The codes provide Switch editions of all three games in the iconic
Ezio trilogy, with full single-player campaigns and solo DLC from Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. They also provide full games and solo DLC from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue. What’s more, as the Switch 2 is backwards compatible, players with the newer console can also benefit from the offer. The deal undercuts major retailers like Amazon, which also offers a two for £20 deal with both Assassin’s Creed bundles. For those preferring PlayStation but are keen
to avoid the premium price tags of the new consoles, Raylo is offering the PS5 Pro 2TB with Assassin’s Creed: Shadows for £20.99 on a monthly subscription. To secure this price for the most advanced PlayStation console, customers just need to commit to a 36-month contract, with shorter terms also available at a higher cost. One said: “Great Game, the graphics are really nice and it is very entertaining.” Another said: “Great immersive game and good affordability

Great graphics.” Others were disappointed that the deal does not include a physical copy, as this shopper said: “It’s not a cartridge, just a download, which is a swindle from Nintendo.” While this five-star review says: “Takes a bit of getting used to the different controls but I actually think the game is better on the Switch than other consoles.”
Nintendo Switch, Argos, TopCashback, Assassin’s Creed, Ezio Collection, Rebel Collection, Black Flag, Rogue, download codes
90p?? that’s basically free, I’m doing this.
So it’s 2 for 20 but then you sign up for some TopCashback thing to make it like 4 bucks?? Seems sketchy, like they’ll find a catch. Also download codes only… so no resale value right?
Wait, this is for five games but it says Ezio trilogy?? That doesn’t add up in my head lol. And why mention Switch 2 like it’s already out? I’m confused but I want it anyway.
Argos deals always sound good until you realize it’s “new customers” only. I already have an account so I guess I’m out. Also why is Amazon being compared like anyone cares, I don’t want codes, I want a disc in my hands.
