Alogic brings Aspekt Touch 27 and Folio touch to Macs

Alogic’s new – Alogic has unveiled the Aspekt Touch 27 and two Folio portable touchscreen displays for Mac users at InfoComm 2026, pushing touch-first and stylus-driven workflows onto Apple hardware that doesn’t include these inputs natively. The Aspekt Touch 27 adds a 27-in

By the time the stylus meets the screen. the workflow stops feeling like “laptop use” and starts looking more like a studio table. That shift is exactly what Alogic is aiming for with its new touch-first display line for Mac users—hardware designed so you can touch. draw. annotate. and gesture directly on what’s on your desktop or in front of you on the go.

At InfoComm 2026, the company unveiled the Aspekt Touch 27 and two portable offerings under the Folio name. Both systems are built around one promise: touch and stylus input for apps. documents. presentations. and creative projects on macOS. using Alogic’s own software to enable touch gestures. navigation. annotation. and drawing.

Alogic is one of the few monitor makers offering touchscreen hardware for Macs. and the new products expand beyond its earlier 32-inch option. The Aspekt Touch 27 is the smaller desktop model. combining a 27-inch 4K IPS touchscreen with a 60Hz refresh rate. 600 nits of brightness. and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Color coverage is designed to fit creative work as well. with support for 97% of the DCI-P3 color space. 93% Adobe RGB. and 100% sRGB.

Stylus support is a core part of the pitch. Alogic pairs the monitor with its Active Stylus, rated for 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The display supports 10-point multitouch input and works with MPP 2.0 styluses. Between sessions, a magnetic holder charges the stylus wirelessly.

The Aspekt Touch 27 also doubles as a dock. built for the kind of desk setup that doesn’t want extra boxes. It includes HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Inside the display chassis are three USB-C ports and two USB-A ports, plus dual 5W speakers. It provides up to 150W of total charging output. including up to 90W of USB-C power delivery for a connected laptop.

The monitor will come in Silver and Space Black, with buyers able to choose among three stand options: Raise Stand, Fold Stand, or Omni Fold Stand. The Fold Stand lowers the display into a drafting position for stylus use, while the Omni Fold Stand includes an integrated mount for an M4 Mac mini.

If the desktop model is about bringing touch and drawing to a single screen. the Folio lineup is about keeping that same idea alive when you leave the desk. Alogic introduced the Folio and Folio Duo portable touchscreen displays for secondary-screen workflows. The standard Folio uses a 16-inch QHD IPS touchscreen. while the Folio Duo combines two 16-inch panels into a folding design that can be used side by side or stacked vertically. A fabric cover acts as a stand and lets the displays fold flat for travel.

Both portable models are designed with the same usability targets: 400 nits of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% sRGB color coverage. They support 10-point multitouch interaction and stylus input, and they include full gesture controls on both Mac and Windows. Alogic says the Folio series is the first portable display lineup to bring full gesture controls and 10-point multitouch support to both platforms.

Portability is paired with minimal cabling. The Folio and Folio Duo operate over a single USB-C connection and support up to 45W of passthrough charging. Like the Aspekt Touch 27, they include a magnetic attachment point for wireless charging of the Active Stylus. In weight terms, the Folio is about 1 kilogram, while the Folio Duo weighs about 1.2 kilograms.

Alogic’s broader focus is clear: it has spent years targeting users who want touch and stylus input on macOS. and the new Aspekt Touch 27 and Folio lineup are meant to expand those options with both desktop and portable designs. The company positions the devices as a way to draw. annotate. and edit content directly on screen without moving projects between a computer and a tablet.

Pricing and timing bring the story into sharper focus. The Aspekt Touch 27 starts at $1,799 and will be available beginning in July. The Folio is priced at $899, while the Folio Duo costs $1,299. Both portable displays are expected to launch around September.

  1. This is cool I guess but why would I buy a touchscreen monitor for a Mac when the Mac already has trackpad gestures? Sounds like marketing. Also stylus charging with a magnet holder?? seems kinda gimmicky.

  2. The article says Apple hardware doesn’t include touch inputs natively, but then they say it works with macOS apps etc. So is this like some extra driver thing or are they hacking the Mac to pretend it has touch? I tried a touchscreen setup once and it was laggy, like 60Hz is still too low.

  3. InfoComm 2026 and “touch-first” for creatives… I’m just imagining my pen falling off mid-drawing. 97% DCI-P3 and all that color talk means nothing to me if it smears or fingerprints easy. Plus “doubles as a dock”?? docks always end up being one more cable nightmare. Might be great for artists though, not sure for normal people.
