Young Man Killed in Wexford Motorbike Crash

A man in his 20s has died following a fatal motorcycle collision in County Wexford, prompting a police investigation and witness appeal.

A man in his 20s tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Co Wexford last night.. Gardai have confirmed in a statement this morning that the victim died after a collision on the L4016 near Glenour in Adamstown in Wexford .. The collision took place shortly after 9.20pm on Friday night, May 8 2026.. The victim’s body has since been removed from the scene and taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford..

The L4016 remains closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination of the scene.. Gardai have now issued an appeal for witnesses, particularly anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the area around the time of the accident, to make contact with authorities.. A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told the Irish Mirror : “Any road users who were traveling on the L4016 between 9:00pm and 9:30pm on Friday 8th May 2026 are

asked to make contact with investigating Gardaí..
