Xiaomi’s G25i 2026 adds Night Vision to 240Hz esports

Xiaomi Gaming – Xiaomi has listed the Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 on its global website, signaling a rollout across Europe and other markets. The headline feature isn’t just the 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, but a new Night Vision mode Xiaomi says can detect enemies

In the lobby, it’s always the same complaint: the game looks great—until the lights drop. Xiaomi is betting its next budget gaming monitor can make those shadowy corners a little less cruel.

The Xiaomi Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 has now been officially listed on Xiaomi’s global website. confirming plans to bring it to Europe and other global markets. The spec sheet reads like a familiar high-refresh pitch. but the standout line is its Night Vision feature—Xiaomi describes it as a way to “detect enemies in dark environments and lock onto hidden targets.”.

Xiaomi hasn’t explained how that mode works in practice. What it does say in its marketing materials is that the feature is essentially an aiming assist, aimed at making hidden targets easier to pick out when visibility gets murky.

That could matter more than usual in multiplayer, where dark maps and darker playstyles are often built into the design. Single-player campaigns may not need such a tool as much, but players chasing competitive advantages do. Some newer titles already lean into that with dedicated darker modes—for example. Arc Raiders has “Night Raids” designed for a darker. more immersive experience. Players have reportedly handled that kind of visibility shift using monitor settings and contrast/brightness tweaks. but the G25i 2026 is positioned as having the feature baked in from the start.

Beneath the Night Vision hook, Xiaomi’s monitor otherwise looks like a straightforward budget esports panel. It uses a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The refresh rate is 240Hz. paired with a 1ms gray-to-gray response time—figures aimed squarely at fast-moving shooters and action games.

To help smooth out fast gameplay, Xiaomi includes FreeSync Premium, designed to reduce tearing and stutter. For color and brightness, the listing calls out 93% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage, typical brightness of 400 nits, and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio.

The price Xiaomi has floated for the model is around €180. though official pricing and local availability details aren’t clear yet for every market. What is clear. though. is the direction: Xiaomi isn’t only chasing higher numbers like 240Hz—it’s trying to make dark gameplay easier to see. and easier to aim at.
