Wyndham Rewards promotion rewards short stays—if you register

Wyndham Rewards is running a time-limited offer that can pay up to 30,000 bonus points for qualifying short stays. The key catch: you must register first, and you must book by Sept. 3 for stays to count.

For anyone planning a “quick hit” summer hotel booking, Wyndham Rewards has built a promotion that can feel almost tailor-made—right up until you miss one deadline.

Wyndham says you have to register for the offer before booking your qualifying stay(s). Stays booked before you register won’t count. Book by Sept. 3, then complete your qualifying stay(s) by Sept. 30 to earn bonus points.

The base bonus is straightforward but rewarding:

– 7,500 points for a stay of two consecutive nights
– 12,500 points for a stay of three consecutive nights
– 15,000 points for a stay of four or more consecutive nights

Wyndham caps the base promotion at 15,000 bonus points total. You’ll reach that full 15,000-point base bonus after either one stay of four or more nights or two stays of at least two nights each.

That’s the part that makes the offer easy to understand—and the part that makes it easy to underestimate. Wyndham says the promotion becomes far more lucrative if you’re a Wyndham Rewards Insider member when you complete your stay. or if you use the Wyndham Rewards Debit Card or any of the Wyndham Rewards credit cards to pay for your stay.

Insiders are eligible to earn 7,500 additional bonus points after a single stay of at least two consecutive nights. Wyndham also says you can usually earn that 7,500 additional bonus once. But there’s a specific stacking path if you’re both:

– a Wyndham Rewards Insider member, and
– a Wyndham Rewards credit card holder

In that case, Wyndham says you can earn 7,500 additional bonus points twice.

Put together, and Wyndham Rewards members who are both Insider members and Wyndham Rewards credit card holders can earn up to 30,000 bonus points total from this promotion.

A few example totals make the stacking math clearer. A registered member who is not a credit card holder, debit card member or Insider member earns:

– 7,500 for one qualifying stay of two consecutive nights
– 12,500 for one qualifying stay of three consecutive nights
– 15,000 for one qualifying stay of four or more consecutive nights
– 15,000 for two qualifying stays of two consecutive nights each

A registered member who is a credit card holder, debit card member or an Insider member (but not both a credit card holder and an Insider member) earns:

– 15,000 for one qualifying stay of two consecutive nights
– 20,000 for one qualifying stay of three consecutive nights
– 22,500 for one qualifying stay of four or more consecutive nights
– 22,500 for two qualifying stays of two consecutive nights each

And a registered member who is both a credit card member and an Insider member can earn:

– 22,500 for one qualifying stay of two consecutive nights
– 27,500 for one qualifying stay of three consecutive nights
– 30,000 for one qualifying stay of four or more consecutive nights
– 30,000 for two qualifying stays of two consecutive nights each

There are also clear limits on what counts as “qualifying.” Qualifying stays are booked directly with Wyndham. Stays at Caesars Entertainment properties, vacation club resorts and vacation rentals don’t qualify. Stays booked with points—including points and cash stays—aren’t eligible. Wyndham says to check the program terms to ensure stays count.

Timing matters after you finish the trip, too. Wyndham says assuming you complete one or two qualifying stays. the promotion bonus points should post within four weeks of when you complete your stay. But bonus points related to using your debit or credit card to pay for your qualifying stay may not post until eight weeks after you complete your stay.

One example floating in the middle of the promotion details shows how quickly these bonuses can stack into real money-like value. The promotion notes that. as a Wyndham Rewards cardholder. you could earn 15. 000 bonus points after just one qualifying stay of two consecutive nights. It points to booking two consecutive nights at the Days Inn by Wyndham Patong Beach Phuket for $92.72.

At $92.72 total for two nights, the promotion details say you’d effectively earn bonus points worth about $105 based on TPG’s June 2026 valuations—before accounting for the regular points you’d earn from the stay and your Wyndham Rewards card spending.

That sense of bargain momentum is exactly why the registration rule is so important. Rates can be higher in many destinations. and promotions that can generate up to 30. 000 bonus Wyndham Rewards points from just one or two short stays don’t come along often. If you already planned paid hotel stays before the end of September. Wyndham’s message is simple: register now. and make sure your bookings happen the right way—otherwise. the bonus won’t follow.

  1. I swear these “register first” promos are always a gotcha. Like I thought booking was the same as registering?? Also the dates… Sept. 3, Sept. 30… my brain hurts.

  2. Wait, it says cap at 15,000 bonus points total, but then also says you can get up to 30,000? So which is it—cap or no cap? I feel like they’re just trying to confuse people into signing up.

  3. This is basically just “pay with our card and be an Insider” rewards, right? I don’t even have those, so it’s like ok congrats to everyone else. I booked a random weekend once and the points never showed up, so I’m skeptical anyway.
