Who are the favorites going into the round of 16?

Does the US Open have a late-night scheduling problem?
US Open matches are running late, with some finishing after 2 a.m. We asked fans if the schedule is too late or if they love the late-night tennis.
The U.S. Open Tennis Championship enters the final week of competition. The action continues Sunday, Sept. 6, with standout players such as Carlos Alcaraz and Naomi Osaka competing.
Alcaraz, a two-time U.S. Open champion, will take on Tommy Paul in a men’s Round of 16 matchup. Frances Tiafoe will also be back in action to take on Daniil Medvedev.
Aryna Sabalenka is the women’s top seed and the tournament’s defending champion. She returns to the court Sunday to take on American fan favorite, Taylor Townsend.
Osaka fought through the pain from a “nagging” Achilles injury to advance to the fourth round. She will face Elena Rybakina in the Round of 16 play on Monday, Sept. 7.
