Trump’s Walter Reed exam returns amid fresh health doubts

Trump’s Walter – President Donald Trump is set for his fourth medical exam of his second term at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Tuesday, as his 80th birthday on June 14 approaches and new questions swirl after videos and images showed a rash-like discoloration

For a president already under the microscope, the timing of Tuesday’s trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center feels like more than routine care.

President Donald Trump is expected to undergo his fourth medical exam of his second term as he nears his 80th birthday on June 14. The White House had previously announced that Trump would receive his annual dental and medical exam on May 26 at Walter Reed. where his doctors will again assess him amid renewed public questions about his health.

The latest attention followed videos and images showing what appeared to be discoloration behind President Trump’s right ear and a rash on his neck. In recent months. his health has been a recurring subject. fueled by physical changes the public has watched closely—bruising on his hands. swelling in his lower legs. and now the rash-like appearance on his neck.

Trump, who is the oldest person ever elected to the presidency, has consistently insisted he is in good health.

“I feel the same as I felt 50 years ago,” Trump said May 4 at a White House event. “I’m not a senior. I’m far younger than a senior.”

He has pointed to one earlier issue—bruising on his hands—and tied it to his aspirin intake. Trump said his use is more than his doctor recommends. Aspirin can help prevent blood clots by thinning the blood.

His doctors, however, have offered explanations for other symptoms. In a letter released by the White House last year, Trump’s doctor, Sean Barbabella, described the president’s leg swelling as the result of “chronic venous insufficiency,” a benign and common condition especially in people over 70.

Trump’s prior medical exam was in October, when he received a CT scan. Barbabella said the scan was “preventative” and that the results were “perfectly normal.” He described the CT scan as part of a comprehensive review of Trump’s heart and abdominal health. adding that the scan “confirms that he remains in excellent overall health.”.

The week’s new images place the latest concern on the same timeline as Trump’s recurring assessments—another test, another public look—while the president turns older and the questions keep finding new surfaces to focus on.

As Tuesday’s exam approaches, Trump’s medical visits during his second term are now adding up to a steady drumbeat: this will be his fourth medical exam in the term, coming as he prepares to mark June 14 and as his doctors continue to characterize his health as strong.
