I saw the ducks thing on another post and omg how do you mess up THAT bad. Also $16 million for paint??
To be fair, algae is like normal? Like water gets gross in DC sometimes, it’s not automatically his fault. But the blue paint peeling… that part sounds wild. Are they sure it’s not just trying to make it “look new” and it failed?
This is why I don’t trust government projects. They say “better product” then you end up with dead ducks and floating paint, and everyone’s arguing politics instead of fixing it. Also didn’t they already renovate this stuff before? Feels like the same mess every 4 years.
