President Donald Trump returned to the Jaxson Dart-Donald Trump collision the moment the Giants thought they’d gotten past it.

Trump posted on his social-media platform “Truth Social” to address the situation in blunt, personal terms. “Thank you Jaxson!” he wrote. “It was great being with you. I know you’re taking some heat from the Radical Left Lunatics who are jealous of you. me. and everyone who surrounds us but. I also know that your Jersey also went to Number One. and you’re making Millions of Dollars so. YOU ARE A WINNER — THEY ARE ALL LOSERS. I’ll see you in the White House!”.

For Dart, the timing is awkward. The message lands while he’s trying to put the incident behind him. The post itself turns that effort into something messier: Trump appears to use the moment as a way to energize his supporters. regardless of whether it adds pressure back into Dart’s day-to-day reality.

The original spark, as outlined here, traces back to a decision Dart made to introduce Trump at a May 22 rally. The decision didn’t stay contained. Dart was met with objection from multiple teammates. and the episode quickly became a controversy by its own momentum—one that Trump now leans into rather than lets fade.

The contradiction sits right at the center of the story: Dart is described as trying to move on. but Trump is actively amplifying the situation and reframing the attention as evidence that Dart is winning. Trump’s post doesn’t talk about the locker-room discomfort or the objections; instead. it points to commercial and political payoff—Dart’s “Jersey” reaching “Number One” and Dart “making Millions of Dollars”—and then closes with a promise of a future meeting in the White House.

The chain of reactions has been laid out clearly: Dart introduces Trump at a May 22 rally. teammates object. the episode becomes controversy. and Trump then steps into the debate by praising Dart directly and dismissing critics as “jealous.” In a moment like this. the stakes aren’t only about what happened on a rally stage—they’re about what it becomes once it spreads into a team’s private space.

  1. Dart needs to just chill and move on but Trump never does. Sounds like the ‘radical left’ line is just to get people fired up again.

  2. I don’t even get why teammates were mad. If somebody’s making millions and his jersey went number one, that’s the dream lol. Maybe the whole thing is fake drama.

  3. The article says Dart is trying to move past it but Trump’s posting ‘White House’ at the end like that doesn’t bring it right back. Also why is it ‘Jersey to Number One’ like that even means politics? Feels like one of those stories that get blown up because people hate Trump, or maybe people hate Dart, idk. Sounds like everybody’s jealous except the guys making money, which is… yeah okay.
