The announced Love Island USA season 8 cast member from Beaverton, Oregon has reportedly been kicked off the show after videos surfaced online that appear to show her using the N-word.
The footage circulating on social media includes at least two clips. In one, Montgomery appears to say the slur while rapping along to a song. In another, she is shown yelling it out while her friend plays an arcade game.
Production sources say Montgomery will no longer be part of the series.
The timing matters. The videos that surfaced online appear to be private clips—seemingly not shared publicly until after the cast was announced. Because of that, they didn’t come up during production’s vetting process when she was cleared for the season.
Montgomery has been reached out to, but there has been no response yet.
Her removal lands as this season’s cast has already come under intense scrutiny in the days since it was announced. Contestant Kenzie Annis drew backlash for posting photos that appeared to show her posing with people who may be wearing MAGA attire. Kenzie’s family later pushed back. with her dad. Montgomery’s exit also echoes a previous controversy for the franchise. Last year, Yulissa Escobar was removed from Love Island USA after multiple podcast clips surfaced in which she dropped the N-word.
