Trump Repeats Iran “Surrender” Post for Third Time

Trump repeats – President Donald Trump shared the same Truth Social post calling on Iran’s military to shout “I surrender, I surrender” for a third time within days, positioning it against new efforts and setbacks surrounding a U.S.-Iran deal. The latest repost landed Monday

President Donald Trump went for an unusual three-peat on Truth Social: he reposted the same demand for Iran’s military to declare defeat—“I surrender, I surrender”—for the third time within just days.

The latest post landed Monday night as Trump’s account filled with fresh Truth Social messages and political endorsements. It also arrived amid renewed friction in attempts to procure a U.S.-Iran deal while a wider war continues to shape U.S. and Iranian calculations.

Earlier on Monday, Iranian state media claimed Iran suspended negotiations with the United States as a result of Israel’s actions in Lebanon. That claim followed rocket fire from Hezbollah into Israel.

In Trump’s repeat post. he laid out a scenario in which Iran’s military. air force. and remaining leadership would collapse under U.S. pressure. The post asks Iran to “shout. ‘I surrender. I surrender’” while “wildly waving the representative White Flag. ” and to have its leadership sign “Documents of Surrender” while admitting defeat to the United States. Trump then specifically attacks multiple news outlets by name—calling out “The Failing New York Times. ” “The China Street Journal (WSJ!). Corrupt and now Irrelevant CNN. ” and “all other members of the Fake News Media”—arguing they would headline that Iran had achieved “Masterful and Brilliant Victory” over the United States.

The wording is not new for Trump. The first time he shared this exact same Truth Social post was on May 18. also a Monday. to kick off the week. He reposted it again on Tuesday, May 26, after returning from a three-hour, six-month physical at Walter Reed. After that medical return, Trump also posted that “everything checked out PERFECTLY.”.

Taken together, the pattern is stark: Trump kept using the same script—repeating the same surrender framing and media castigation—while negotiations around a U.S.-Iran deal continued to face setbacks tied to events in Lebanon.

  1. Sounds like the whole thing is just more propaganda and yelling. The NYT and CNN got called out again so people will eat it up. Also the Lebanon part confuses me like how does Hezbollah into Israel = Iran surrender, ya know?

  2. Wait so he did this after that Walter Reed thing? I mean if “everything checked out PERFECTLY” then why is he acting like he needs to prove a point every day. Maybe he’s trying to scare Iran so the deal goes through, but shouting surrender seems kinda weird.

  3. Truth Social is literally just him reading the teleprompter into a void. Calling the media “failing” doesn’t change anything, unless Iran’s leader is actually glued to WSJ headlines? I swear I saw somewhere that Iran suspended negotiations because of Lebanon and now he’s blaming the news outlets too which feels like he’s just shifting blame. Also “white flag” like it’s a meme, idk.
