True Grit Streams Free on Pluto TV in July

  1. Wait so is this the John Wayne one? Cause I keep seeing 1969 stuff everywhere, and my uncle says it’s basically the same movie. Either way free westerns is cool.

  2. Jeff Bridges and Hailee Steinfeld together is wild. I didn’t realize it was free on Pluto in July, that’s awesome. Also they keep saying “Oscar recognized” like that’s some new thing, but yeah it definitely got attention for a reason. Is it the one with the Texas ranger? I get it mixed up with other westerns.

  3. So it’s coming to Pluto in July but the article says release date December 22, 2010… like is that just the original release? Idk I just heard “free” and started listening. Rotten Tomatoes 95% certified fresh, ok so basically it’s good, but westerns are hit or miss. Still, I’m gonna put it on while I’m doing stuff. Pluto is really leaning into America’s 250th or whatever too, sounds kinda forced but whatever.
