Tom Brady posted an Instagram tribute to his oldest son, Jack Moynahan, after his graduation from Riverdale Country School in New York City, calling it one of the proudest days of his life.

Tom Brady watched his oldest son walk across the stage this past week, and he didn’t try to make it anything other than what it felt like.

Brady posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram to Jack Moynahan’s graduation from Riverdale Country School in New York City. In the post. Brady shared family photos from the ceremony and wrote. “One of the proudest days of my life. watching Jack walk across the stage and graduate into the next chapter of what’s already and impressive life.”.

He added a portrait of Jack as more than a student—calling him “an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend amongst many other things.”

What Brady returned to, over and over, was character—how Jack shows up when there’s no spotlight. “What makes me happiest is knowing who you are when no one is watching. The way you show up for your friends. The was you check on people having a hard day. The love you give our family, and the fact that you still let me win 1v1 once in a while.”.

Moynahan, Brady’s oldest, played varsity basketball at Riverdale Country School. His Hudl profile lists him as a 6-foot-6-inch, 170-pound small forward/shooting guard.

Bridget Moynahan, Jack’s mother and an actress, also posted about the milestone on Instagram. “So proud of our boy Jack,” she wrote. “We are all excited to see what you do next!”

Jack was born on August 22, 2007—weeks before the New England Patriots kicked off the 2007 season. That same year, Brady was named MVP and offensive player of the year, posting a 17-0 regular-season record and leading the Patriots to a Super Bowl appearance that they lost to the Giants.

Brady previously reflected on that timing, saying, “When my son Jack was born in 2007, my life changed forever. Nothing is more important to me than being a father.”

In his graduation message, Brady ended with advice built on risk and kindness, plus a promise of steady support. “This isn’t an ending. It’s a starting line,” he wrote. “Whatever you chase next we know you’ll find success in. Take the risks. Be kind. Be yourself and know your family and friends are always right behind you cheering the loudest because you do the same for everybody else!. We love you.”.
