After looking like it would be a blowout, Texas stormed back against Ohio State to pull off an incredible 20-point comeback to win the top-five matchup 24-23.
The Buckeyes were up 23-3 in the fourth quarter as Jeremiah Smith feasted on the Texas defense for the majority of the game. But Arch Manning and Hollywood Smothers put the Longhorns on their backs — and got some lucky bounces — for 21 points in the final 15 minutes, capped off by Smothers’ game-winning touchdown in the final minute.
It was a result that shook all of the college football world after it seemed impossible for the majority of the game.
