Team USA’s winning World Cup debut triggers massive ticket surge

USMNT ticket – After the USMNT’s 4-1 home win over Paraguay, demand for U.S. World Cup tickets has surged. Next up are group games against Australia in Seattle on June 19 and Turkey in Los Angeles on June 25, with reported starting prices rising sharply alongside fan anticip
The home crowd didn’t just show up for the USMNT’s World Cup debut — it turned the stadium into a launchpad. On June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., the U.S. played its best soccer in decades, dominating Paraguay 4-1 in its first World Cup game on home soil in more than 30 years.
By the time fans started mapping out what a run to World Cup glory could look like, ticket demand for the next U.S. group stage matches began to climb fast — and prices followed.
The USMNT still has two group stage games to earn its next chapter. Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun are among the players preparing for matchups against Australia in Seattle and Turkey in Los Angeles.
The second group game is against Australia on Friday, June 19 at Lumen Field in Seattle, home of the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. As of publication, ticket prices for the U.S. vs. Australia match start at $1,826. The match is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET, with TV coverage listed as FOXT.
The final group stage game comes Thursday, June 25 in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., the same venue where the U.S. secured its opening win over Paraguay. Ticket prices for the U.S. vs. Turkey match start at $1,471. The game is set for 10 p.m. ET, also listed as FOXT.
After one win, it’s easy for fans to dream — but nothing is settled yet in Group D. The U.S. still has to decide where it finishes, and that could shape where it plays next.
If the USMNT wins Group D, it would play the third-place finisher from one of five groups. The opponent would likely not be known until the last day of group stage play. The match would take place on Wednesday, July 1 in San Francisco.
If the U.S. finishes second in Group D. it would play the second-place finisher from Group G. a group that includes Belgium. Iran. Egypt and New Zealand. That creates a real possibility of a Round of 32 matchup between the U.S. and Iran. That game would be on Friday, July 3 in Dallas, and tickets are described as cheaper than any U.S. group stage game.
If the U.S. finishes third in Group D, it could still advance if it is one of the eight highest finishing third-place teams. In that scenario, the U.S. would take on the winner of either Group E. I. or K. and could play on Monday. June 29 in Boston; Tuesday. June 30 in New York; or Friday. July 3 in Kansas City.
The schedule is already set for Group D: the U.S. opened with a 4-1 win over Paraguay on June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., then plays Australia on June 19 at Lumen Field in Seattle, and closes group play against Turkey on June 25 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
With the debut win still fresh and anticipation rising, the economic pressure is clear: fans aren’t just watching the matches — they’re buying into the possibility that the home momentum can carry the team further.

Why is it like $1,826?? That’s insane for a soccer game.
I saw FOXT on my cable guide and thought it was some weird channel lol. Anyway congrats to them but those ticket prices are wild. People really paying that much already?
So they beat Paraguay 4-1 and now tickets jump like crazy… makes sense I guess but also sounds like scalpers. Wait Australia in Seattle June 19 at Lumen Field? Isn’t that where the Seahawks play? Like I don’t even know, I’m just going off the headline.
“Launchpad”?? Stadium going crazy after one win doesn’t mean anything yet. But $1,471 vs Turkey?? That’s like more than my rent. Also I’m confused why the article says FOXT like that’s a normal thing, and June 25 is late, everyone’s traveling… idk I just hope regular fans can still get in.
