Mark Levin urges Trump to “finish” Iran war

Mark Levin sounded like a man trying to stop a train right before the tracks turn—pressing President Donald Trump to keep fighting rather than settle for diplomacy.
On his Life. Liberty. and Levin program on Saturday night. Levin urged Trump to “finish” the military campaign against Iran and wipe out the country’s theocratic regime. He framed the coming moment—when Trump said a deal with Iran is expected to be signed—as something that would change nothing about Iran’s intentions. even if the regime signs.
“A memorandum of understanding, from my perspective, or a final deal will not matter to the Iranian regime,” Levin said. “It will not matter to the Iranian regime. even if they sign on the dotted line tomorrow. the next day. whenever. Or if they are bombed into signing — one or the other, or both, at some point. They will never abide by any of it.”.
Levin argued that Iran’s Shia Islamic leaders are incapable of honoring an agreement. He said “they cannot [abide], they cannot,” adding that religious and political ideology and doctrine require the regime to resist. In his telling. Iranian leaders view diplomacy as a survival tactic—something to buy time—while aiming to push U.S. demands aside.
“They cannot [abide], they cannot. Because as a matter of religious and political ideology [and] doctrine. they will not in the end bend to the demands of the great Satan. ” he said. “They will not bend to the demands of the very people and society and government they exist to destroy by any means necessary.”.
He continued that complying with a deal would amount to defiance. “They would be committing an act of defiance against Allah. for whom they are committed to die. ” Levin said. describing what he sees as a clash of fundamental motivations: “We and they are on two totally different wavelengths.” He said Iranian leaders see diplomacy as “a last resort. ” but as a resort “to survive. ” arguing that survival would come at the cost of U.S. success.
A few minutes later. Levin shifted to his view of how Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be remembered. He said he believes Trump’s relationship with Netanyahu will be viewed “just like the Franklin Delano Roosevelt–Winston Churchill relationship from World War II.” Still. he made clear he wants action. not a negotiated endpoint.
“I continue to truly believe we should finish the spectacular military achievements we have won on the Iranian people and get it over with. I truly do,” Levin said. “The mass-murdering death cult that is the Iranian regime is not going to commit suicide.”
Levin’s comments carry extra weight because he has long been one of Trump’s biggest supporters. He hailed Trump as the “first Jewish president” at a Hanukkah event last winter, and he applauded Trump for launching the war against Iran at the end of February.
The political backdrop around Levin also includes Trump stepping in to defend him publicly. Trump later defended Levin against “jealous” haters like Megyn Kelly, after Kelly said the U.S. was fighting “Israel’s war.” Kelly also blamed Levin and Ben Shapiro, among others, for “pushing” the U.S. into attacking Iran.
With a deal expected to be signed soon, Levin’s message was blunt: he does not see a signed document as a turning point. In his view, the military campaign should be allowed to reach the outcome he argues diplomacy cannot deliver.

So basically Levin wants to just keep bombing Iran? wild.
I heard something about a “deal” and everyone acting like it’s gonna save lives… then Mark Levin says no way. Like why even sign anything if they’re just gonna break it. Seems kinda obvious though.
Wait I’m confused, are they saying Iran won’t honor it OR that the US won’t honor it? News is always mixing that up. Either way “finish the war” sounds like a video game, not real people.
Levin talks like he’s stopping a train but he’s also saying “wipe out” Iran, so… how is that not the same thing as escalating? Plus “theocratic regime” doesn’t mean all Iranians, and then people just act like it’s one monolith. I don’t get how diplomacy is suddenly pointless when wars never end either.
