The latest Netflix drama is back Thursday. June 11. and all 10 episodes of Sweet Magnolias Season 5 will be available to watch starting at 3 a.m. ET. The series remains on Netflix. where viewers can choose from three subscription tiers: Standard with ads at $8.99 per month. Standard at $19.99 per month. and Premium at $26.99 per month.
This season centers on the bond between Dana Sue, Helen and Maddie as friendship meets upheaval. Helen. after last season’s engagement. also has her road to the altar set to play out in Season 5. including the continuation of her relationship with Erik. For Maddie, the stakes feel bigger: Season 5 follows her navigation of a move to New York City.
Returning cast members include JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley. Is this the one where they all move to New York and forget Serenity? Sounds like the show is basically over then but I’ll still watch.
Jamie-Lynn Sigler joining is cool but I swear I saw something that says Nell Winters is actually Helen’s sister?? or maybe that was another show. Netflix descriptions are always confusing.
Not me thinking they were doing a Season 5 renewal like months ago. Also the ads tier is $8.99 which is wild, but I’m like… does it even matter if they drop all 10 episodes at 3 a.m. ET? gonna binge anyway. I just hope the Erik/Jamie-Lynn stuff is less dramatic than last time because Serenity can’t handle all this reinvention.
