Starbucks brings back S’mores Frappuccino for July

Starbucks is reintroducing its S’mores Frappuccino and rolling out several new S’mores drinks alongside early Starbucks Rewards access on June 30, with full menu availability starting July 1.
The line outside Starbucks coffeehouses starts forming before the sun fully clears the block. For fans of the brand’s limited-time treats, this one has a familiar draw—only this time, it’s a drink fans haven’t seen in six years.
Starbucks says the S’mores Frappuccino is returning to menus. The company is bringing back the popular seasonal blend after what it describes as “popular demand from customers and baristas,” with new s’mores-themed beverages scheduled for a limited run.
Starbucks Rewards members will get early access on June 30, and the drinks will be available for full purchase beginning July 1, according to a Starbucks news release.
The Frappuccino returns layered with a marshmallow-flavored whipped cream base, milk chocolate sauce and graham cracker flavor blended with coffee and ice, then finished with a cloud of marshmallow whipped cream and a graham crumble topping.
It isn’t the only s’mores drink arriving with the lineup. Starbucks also plans to debut the S’mores Cold Brew, an Iced S’mores Chai, and new cold foam and chai variations tied to the same dessert-inspired flavor profile. The company says the drinks will be available for a limited time.
The Iced S’mores Chai is made with chai tea infused with “cozy spices. ” blended with notes of toasted marshmallow. milk chocolate and graham cracker. Starbucks says. The S’mores Cold Brew starts with Starbucks cold brew. topped with marshmallow-flavored cold foam. then finished with a crosshatch of chocolate drizzle and a sprinkle of graham cracker topping.
Starbucks beverage development director Lisa Beckman framed the return as more than recreating a flavor. In the news release. she said the beverage is “not just about recreating the flavor of a favorite treat. ” adding that the goal was “recreating a feeling — the joy of summer connection with friends. ” through “a delicious Frappuccino. ” with “layering flavors and textures to create a multi-sensory and emotional experience.”.
Taken together. the timing and packaging read like a deliberate summer push: Starbucks has set a clear early-access date for rewards members. then opened the full menu rollout the next day. pairing the core S’mores Frappuccino with additional s’mores-flavored options built to capture different cravings—coffee-forward. chai-forward. and cold-brew-forward.
The move is also part of a broader summer lineup. Starbucks says Blended Energy Refreshers are joining menus beginning July 14, with drinks designed to combine “bright fruit flavors with either lemonade or coconut milk,” blended with ice and real fruit pieces.
Those flavors include the Blended Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Energy Refresher and the Blended Mango Strawberry Lemonade Energy Refresher. Alongside the new energy options, Starbucks will also introduce a new Blended Pink Energy Drink this summer.
Starbucks is tying the food and beverage rollout to merchandise as well. A new merchandise collection inspired by the Blended Pink Energy Drink will be available in coffeehouses beginning July 7, and includes colorful drinkware and accessories.
For fans who remember the S’mores Frappuccino from years past, the wait is about to end—starting with Starbucks Rewards early access on June 30, followed by full availability on July 1.
