When Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi stepped onto the set for a past appearance. she says she didn’t expect the conversation to become a public challenge. On the May 19 episode of the “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast. Polizzi recalled Wendy Williams bringing out alcohol and pressing her to prove she wasn’t “secretly pregnant.”.
Polizzi. who announced on TikTok on Friday that she had been diagnosed with stage one cervical cancer. said Williams heard there was a rumor that she was pregnant and then turned it into a moment for the cameras. Polizzi described Williams as offering beer for her and her friend Jenni [Lynn Farley], then pushing for a test.
“‘She heard there was a rumor that I was pregnant,’ Polizzi said. ‘She brought out beer for me and Jenni [Lynn Farley], and she goes, ‘Well, let’s see if you’re pregnant.’ Like, so crazy.’”
Polizzi said she picked up the drink and pretended to take a swig. adding that she “didn’t even take a sip of it.” She also said Williams’ style on the show felt “intimidating. ” including a prior moment when she called Polizzi out for “acting different” while she was trying to change her public image.
“I tried to be more ‘classier,’ and it just wasn’t working,” Polizzi said. “I was like talking proper, and she was like, ‘You’re acting different.’”
Polizzi added, “That was not me. Never again,” and said she later came to understand that personal growth “takes time.”
Her account comes with family and health context close at hand. Polizzi and her husband, Jionni LaValle, share three children: Lorenzo, 13; Giovanna, 11; and Angelo, 6, according to People and E!. News. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight that aired May 14. she said she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in February and would undergo a hysterectomy as part of her treatment. “I’m terrified,” she said. “But I feel like once that happens. then I just have to keep an eye on it and I’ll be OK.”.
Alongside Polizzi on the podcast, her friend Joey Camasta added that she later “shunned” Williams during a chance encounter at Target weeks after the appearance.
The story is also intertwined with Williams’ own health. Williams. now 61. was diagnosed in 2023 with primary progressive aphasia (PPA) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). progressive neurological disorders that affect communication. behavior and personality. according to prior reporting and information from Penn State Health and Mayo Clinic.
Attempts to seek comment were also tied to that latest chapter. On May 20, representatives and the office of Williams’ court-appointed legal guardian were contacted for comment.
