I don’t even get why they act shocked. If teams “already know” then it’s basically everyone except the fans. Also schedule week is the only thing keeping people sane before the season.
Isn’t this the same thing that happened with the draft? Like they didn’t want spoilers but then it just kept happening anyway. I feel like the NFL might be behind it because it boosts clicks right before 8pm. But then again maybe someone just posted the wrong file and it spread.
I’m convinced the schedule-release “videos” are fake anyway, like they already know and just wait for the leak to catch up. Also why does 8 p.m. ET matter to me, I still gotta check websites. If the league hated leaks they’d stop, but they keep letting “details” float around so it’s kinda whatever.
