Raymonde Leads ‘Eat Your Heart Out’ After Wrapped Filming

Tania Raymonde is set to headline the horror-comedy musical Eat Your Heart Out, which has recently wrapped production. The indie film centers on a small town’s music festival—and the terrifying fallout of a risky new party drug as flesh-eating demons close in.
The first thing the town is preparing for isn’t the show.
It’s the music festival—and the young locals are already changing. as a risky new party drug starts to spread just as the crowds roll in. In Eat Your Heart Out. production has recently wrapped. and the horror-comedy musical is now moving through post-production after a five-week shoot in and around Eugene. Oregon.
At the center of it all is Tania Raymonde, who leads the ensemble cast as Jules. She stars alongside Breanna Yde as Rory. her best friend in a punk band that’s about to play its first high-profile gig. Their plan is simple: perform, seize the moment, and keep the night from falling apart. The problem is that the town becomes swarming with flesh-eating demons while the drug delivers exhilarating highs—along with side effects that include uncontrollable rage. overwhelming strength. and a sudden craving for human flesh.
Raymonde described what drew her in. “Those were two huge bucket-list things I wanted to check off, and you almost never get to do both in the same movie,” she said. “Getting to be a rock star, play music and kill zombies … I mean, what else do you need? It’s kind of the perfect film.”
The cast extends beyond the best-friends story. Jesse Rath appears, along with Emily Kimball, Rob Huebel, Brian Austin Green, Steve Agee, Clare Grant, and Brendan Sexton III. Rounding out the ensemble are Steve Agee, with his Peacemaker role, and Breanna Yde, known for School of Rock.
Writer-director Taylor Morden. fresh from helming the 2020 documentary The Last Blockbuster. directed the feature from a script he co-wrote with Emily Claire. Morden and Claire serve as producers, while executive producers include Raymonde, Jaice DuMars, and Robert Trevino. Spark Casting handled casting duties through Stefanie Seifer, Hailey Giles, and Chiara Marini.
