Ray-Ban Meta Optics review: Better fit, higher price

After two weeks of wearing Ray-Ban Meta glasses with see-through (non-prescription) lenses as daily wear, the Optics line starts making sense—mainly because Meta improved comfort and stability. Swappable nosepads, moldable tips, a new action button for quick M
For anyone who wears contacts most days but falls back on prescription glasses when they need to, Ray-Ban Meta’s see-through lenses have probably felt like a compromise. The frames were never clearly built for the life that already works: take off contacts, put on real prescription glasses, move on.
But after wearing the Ray-Ban Meta Optics as my primary glasses for two weeks, the calculus has shifted. They’re still in the Ray-Ban Meta universe—and they look and feel very similar to the second-generation frames—but the Optics line adds comfort upgrades that make a real difference when the glasses are your first choice. not a backup.

So basically they fixed the nosepads and now it costs more? lol.
I don’t get why they’re using “see-through” lenses if you can just get normal glasses? Like is it for contacts people or not? Sounds like a fancy compromise with a bigger price tag.
Wait, the action button and open-ear speakers… is that what makes them “better fit”? I read it like the battery is the whole problem but then it says comfort/stability. Also Ray-Ban is already pricey so higher price makes sense I guess, but I’m still confused on what exactly is improved besides nosepads.
Two weeks of wearing them and “it starts making sense” ok but what about privacy? Meta glasses always feel creepy to me. The review is talking about comfort and swappable parts like that fixes the fact it’s Meta. Plus “moldable tips” sounds like they’ll fit my face wrong the first day anyway.
