Prince William didn’t exactly close the door on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding—he just refused to open it all the way.
During his May 22 appearance on the U.K. radio show “Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden. ” the Prince of Wales was drawn into talk of a “big wedding happening this summer.” The moment came after William asked the show to play “Opalite” for his children. who are longtime Swift fans. Jamie Theakston responded that he thought something major was on the way. and Amanda Holden pressed William with a direct question: “Have you got an invite?”.
William kept his answer tight-lipped. “No comment. I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see.”
Still, he didn’t shy away from the bigger truth behind the suspense—how deeply his family loves Swift. William said his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are big fans. “Charlotte, my daughter, and Louis, to be fair, Charlotte, particularly, is obsessed [with] Taylor Swift,” he said.
