Paris Hilton stepped into Pride Month with a small room, a big message, and friends who made it feel personal.
This week in Los Angeles, the media personality joined Vas J. Morgan and Lucy Guo for the 4th annual WeMatter Pride Dinner. The invite-only gathering took place at Lucy’s home with a guest list of just 30 people. including Cara Delevingne. Jess Glynne. Chloe Sims. Gottmik. Jordan Barrett. Evan Ross. and more.
The evening’s purpose was clear: to raise support for Rainbow Railroad, which rescues LGBTQIA+ people from countries where they face violence and persecution.
Vas J. Morgan shared the meaning of the moment in an Instagram post. writing. “Growing up deeply ashamed and tortured by my sexuality. I never imagined that one day I’d be standing here, let alone standing with pride. When I was younger and still struggling to accept who I was. I remember watching the It Gets Better videos on YouTube. At the time, I never believed those messages could be true for me. But they were. Believe me when I say – it does get better!. Happy Pride.”.
Paris Hilton replied in the comments with simple support: “Love you so much and so proud of you.”
In a statement, Lucy Guo framed the night as both celebration and urgency. “It was an honor to host the We Matter Pride Dinner at my home. As a member of the LGBTQ community. there’s something powerful about filling a room with people who get it — who show up for love. for each other. for a cause that actually matters. Pride is joy. yes. but it’s also about not forgetting the people still fighting just to be safe and free. Thank you to Vas, We Matter, Rainbow Railroad, and everyone who came out to support this work. It saves lives.”.

Love this for her honestly.
Wait, is Rainbow Railroad like trains?? I mean I’m glad people are helping I just thought it was a charity for rail stuff lol. Also 30 guests feels super exclusive.
So she just commented “love you” and that’s the whole headline? Not saying it’s bad, just seems like PR. But also I guess if it helps then whatever. Pride is great but can we get more than a dinner, like actual policy?
I don’t really get the whole “invite-only” Pride stuff. Like if you’re trying to save people from persecution, why is it at some rich person’s house for 30 people? And wasn’t Paris involved with something else recently too? Idk, seems kinda performative but I hope it truly saves lives.
