Overwatch Heroes Arrive in Fortnite for Act III Clash

Overwatch Heroes – Fortnite’s Act III summons Tracer, Mercy, Genji, and D.Va to Battle Royale, Zero Build, Reload, and Blitz, with familiar Overwatch locations, hero gear in the loot pool, and themed rewards. The outfits land May 14 and run through June 4.
When the call goes out in Fortnite’s Act III. it’s not just a new skin on the Island—it’s a whole crossover landing at once.. Tracer. Mercy. Genji. and D.Va are arriving across Fortnite modes including Battle Royale. Zero Build. Reload. and Blitz. with the game free to play on Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation 5. PlayStation 4. Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch 2. iOS. Android. NVIDIA GeForce Now. and PC via the Epic Games Store.
What’s getting fans buzzing is how quickly Overwatch stops feeling like a guest appearance.. Familiar locations are coming to Battle Royale: Busan Sanctuary. Hanamura Courtyard. King’s Row Tower. and bases inspired by Watchpoint: Gibraltar.. Scattered around these areas. players can find Tracer and Mercy offering services. while Genji and D.Va stand ready to be recruited as allies.
And then there’s the loot pool, where two heroes bring their signature tools with them. Tracer’s Pulse Pistols put players in first-person, letting them Blink to zip short distances to close space or escape quickly. If a fight turns the wrong way, Recall rewinds a few seconds to recover.
Mercy’s Caduceus Staff works differently. It locks onto a teammate, then keeps them alive using a healing beam that restores health and shields. While equipped, Mercy’s staff also lets players glide to reposition or break away when things get tense.
The crossover isn’t limited to gameplay changes—it’s also wrapped into what players can earn and collect.. By winning rivalries across the island and as a community. Fortnite players can unlock new gameplay and rewards in their Locker. including Overwatch Payload Rift Anomaly. Orca MV-261 Dropship Landmark. Overwatch Cache Chests. Hero Cache Chests. Overwatch Mercy’s Crest Spray. and Overwatch Emblem Spray.

The outfits themselves follow a clear window: all four Overwatch heroes—Tracer, Mercy, Genji, and D.Va—are arriving in Fortnite as Outfits available from May 14 to June 4. Each also comes with matching accessories and matching styles for Fortnite’s LEGO modes.
