In a profile published Wednesday, June 24, Wilde, 42, told The Cut that she has “never had a screaming match on my set.” She added, “I was never not available on set,” explaining that she wanted to correct the story in real time: “I wanted to be like, ‘None of this is true.’”
Her denial comes as the 2022 film Don’t Worry Darling remains wrapped in talk about tension behind the scenes. Leading up to its premiere. speculation swirled that Wilde—who directed and starred in the movie alongside Florence Pugh. 30—had drama with Pugh. The rumors were fueled further by the romance Wilde began with Harry Styles during production.
