Staff Reporter THE Namibian Presidency has announced that Her Excellency Dr Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia, has appointed Major General Anne-Marie Nainda as the Acting Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force, with immediate effect.. Press Secretary in the Namibian Presidency, Jonas Mbambo, said that Major General Nainda will serve in an acting capacity for a period of one (1) year, taking over from Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo.. “This appointment is made
in accordance with Article 32(4)(c)(bb), which vests the President with the authority to appoint the Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force.. Major General Nainda is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in policing operations, administration, and strategic coordination..
