MLB Tuesday lines swing toward favorites across divisions

Sports betting lines for MLB Tuesday show heavy favorites in several matchups, with Baltimore priced at -156 and Philadelphia at -230, while several underdogs are available at positive odds across the American, National, and interleague slates.

By the time Tuesday’s MLB card locks in, the betting lines are already doing the talking.

In the American League, Baltimore is listed as a heavy favorite at -156 against Chicago White Sox, who are at +128. Texas is favored at -118 in Cleveland, while the home side comes in at -104. The Yankees host Detroit, with New York priced at -142 and Detroit at +116.

The National League offers even bigger numbers at the top. Philadelphia is the most lopsided favorite of the day at -230 hosting Pittsburgh at +185. Atlanta is at -163 at home versus St. Louis at +133. Milwaukee is favored at -182 against Cincinnati at +148.

Chicago Cubs host San Diego with the Cubs at -157 and the Padres at +129. Miami is priced at -156 at home against Colorado at +127.

Some matchups are simply paused by the line sheet itself. San Francisco is listed as OFF at Arizona.

Interleague games also carry their own pricing. Toronto is set at -131 hosting the N.Y Mets at +107. Boston is favored at -142 against Washington at +118. LA Dodgers are at -155 at Athletics, with Oakland listed at +126.

  1. Why is San Francisco “OFF”?? Like they just not showing up or what. I swear MLB lines change like every hour.

  2. OFF at Arizona makes it sound like a rain delay already, but the article doesn’t even say. Also -156 Baltimore feels too confident, White Sox always somehow mess that up.

  3. I don’t trust those Sportradar odds. Like if Philly is -230 then Pittsburgh is gonna have a comeback just out of spite, that’s how baseball works. Also Yankees -142 over Detroit… Detroit always plays weird against NY so I’d sprinkle on the +116 at least.
