Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly attacked Meghan Markle after her Geneva speech at the Lost Screen Memorial drew what Kelly described as an extremely small crowd, adding sharper jabs about Meghan’s social media post before the trip and her declining cultur
Megyn Kelly didn’t waste time turning Meghan Markle’s Geneva visit into a full-blown public argument. On a new episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the conservative commentator showed clips from the Duchess of Sussex’s appearance in Switzerland and zeroed in on the size of the audience.
Meghan Markle traveled to Geneva. Switzerland. to deliver a speech at the unveiling of the Lost Screen Memorial. a campaign spotlighting the dangers of online harm and digital violence impacting children. But Kelly said the event’s crowd told a different story. Mocking what she called Meghan’s need to be “taken seriously,” Kelly said, “[Meghan] must be taken seriously. She’s humanitarian. She started the Archwell Foundation, which already closed. She flies all the way over there. and would you take a look at the crowd that showed up or didn’t… literally nobody is on the side.”.
Kelly then escalated her criticism into a broader judgment about Meghan’s influence. She added, “No one is listening to her. We have video of a woman behind her who basically is like putting the jacket on… yawning, stretching. This is the crowd…It’s the public’s verdict on, we don’t give a s*** about you.”.
The crowd wasn’t the only flashpoint. Kelly also took issue with Meghan posting a photo of herself and her daughter. Lilibet. taken before she left for the conference. In her segment. Kelly called the move out as hypocrisy and narcissism. pointing to Meghan’s social media activity ahead of what Kelly described as a speech about the dangers of social media.
Kelly mocked the post by highlighting what she said the image was meant to communicate. “A picture of herself surrounded by designer clothing and Lilibet down at her feet. staring up at her mother… ‘It’s just me. it’s me admiring me as my daughter admires me in my closet of designer clothes. This is how I want you to understand how relatable I am,’” Kelly said.
Kelly’s critique also found company outside the show. Royal expert Tom Sykes, writing on his Substack, responded to the Instagram post with a pointed accusation. Sykes said. “A woman who is about to stand alongside the world’s most senior public health official and talk about the measurable and preventable harms of exposing children to social media has just — voluntarily. for no apparent reason other than self-promotion — exposed her own child to social media.”.

Who cares how many people showed up, it’s literally a memorial.
Megyn Kelly is acting like she’s the crowd police lol. If the point was online harm for kids, that’s still the point right?
I mean Meghan always posts stuff before events, but blaming her for “exposing” her kid like it’s instant doom? Also wasn’t the Archwell Foundation closed because of something else? This feels like reaching.
The crowd size thing is so weird to me, like Switzerland just runs on vibes? But also Megyn saying nobody is on the side?? That’s not how public opinion works. And the picture of her and Lilibet… I saw like 20 posts about it already so it’s probably all fake anyway. Also why is Megyn even watching the back of someone’s head? Seems petty.
