I don’t get how you can peak too early when they’re literally winning every week. Like defenses figure you out but… isn’t that the whole point of scouting? Also $3.75 favourites sounds like free money.
So he’s saying Fremantle will lose because they’re winning too much by round 13? That’s kinda backwards. If they can fix things during the season then great, not a curse. Concussion guy getting back (Hayden Young) also doesn’t sound like a thing that would “use up” the team.
Honestly AFL people always do this “they peaked” talk right before finals like it’s weather forecasting. Today it’s peak too early, next week it’s “injuries will catch up.” Meanwhile they’re missing like 3 players and still smashing them by 124 which makes me think they’re not peaked at all… but whatever. I saw someone say Sydney is second so I’m just waiting for Sydney to magically overtake them like always.
