The UFC announced Monday that Fight Night is coming to the City of Light on September 5, with the event scheduled for Accor Arena. No bouts have been revealed yet, but the card will presumably feature a selection of UFC talent from France, continuing the steady rhythm Paris fans have grown used to.
This will be the fifth straight year Paris has hosted a Fight Night card in September. a stretch that has turned the French capital into one of the UFC’s most reliable European stops. The franchise’s Paris run began in September 2022, with French heavyweight Ciryl Gane headlining both of the first two events. He finished Tai Tuivasa in 2022 at the inaugural UFC event in France, then stopped Serghei Spivac with strikes in 2023.
By 2024, the headline spotlight shifted to French lightweight Benoit Saint Denis. He fought on the Paris card in 2024 but came up short against Brazil’s Renato Moicano. The most recent edition in Paris was headlined by French middleweight Nassourdine Imavov, who beat Caio Borralho by unanimous decision.
Imavov stands out as a name to watch heading into September, not because anything has been announced, but because he hasn’t entered the octagon since his September win.
Behind the matchups, the event locations have carried their own momentum. For each of the four previous Paris Fight Night cards at Accor Arena, announced attendance exceeded 15,000, underlining how quickly these evenings have become part of the local sports calendar.
