Sky Sports to air Major League Cricket from June 18

Major League Cricket have announced their 2026 season will be available live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland. Beginning Thursday June 18, fans across the UK and Ireland will be able to watch Major League Cricket live throughout the league’s fourth season, featuring stars like Steve Smith, Ravi Ashwin and Finn Allen, among others. Wait, “Grand Prairie just outside Dallas” like it’s gonna be in the UK too? I saw Steve Smith and thought it was gonna be the IPL or something. Also Oakland Coliseum returning… isn’t that baseball? So cricket is moving to baseball stadiums now?
Okay but why do they keep saying “USA T20” like we don’t live here 🙄. 34 matches and they’re debuting at that LA Knight Riders place in Pomona, which I swear is always getting renamed. If Steve Smith and Ravi Ashwin are there, I’ll watch, but I bet the streaming quality will be trash on game day.
